Rapper Machine Gun Kelly is the next to respond to Eminem‘s latest album Kamikaze, replying back with a diss track.
Following criticism from Justin Vernon, MGK releases “Rap Devil,” a reference to the “Rap God” Eminem. The artist retorts to Em’s track “Not Alike” specifically, remarking on Marshall’s age.
“The big bad bully of the rap game can’t take a f*cking joke/Oh you want some f*cking smoke (What?)/
But not literally, you’ll choke/Yeah I’ll acknowledge you’re the GOAT/But I’m the Gunner b*tch, I got you in the scope (Brra)/
Don’t have a heart attack now (No)/Somebody help your mans up (Help)/Knees weak of old age/The real Slim Shady can’t stand up.”
Eminem, before this, dissed Kelly on “Not Alike” with an attack of his credibility:
“This little c*ck-sucker, he must be feelin’ himself/He wants to keep up his tough demeanor/So he does a feature, decides to team up with Nina/
But next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne/If you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun/
And I’m talkin’ to you, but you already know who the f*ck you are, Kelly.”
This diss was apparently a reply to a subliminal lyric delivered on Tech N9ne’s track “No Reason” which made initial reference to the “Rap God” as “just rap.”
