Lamborghini has officially unveiled it’s latest and most powerful Aventador at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The new Aventador SVJ, which stands for Super Veloce Jota says that SVJ draws on “every inspiration from a spaceship to a jet fighter.” He adds that these inspirations “are the most exceptional examples of super-fast, super-athletic, aerodynamic superiority.”
The SVJ’s engine is made to produce up to 770 horsepower. It can go from zero to 60 miles an hour in less than three seconds. Before it was officially introduced, it set the record for the fastest lap by a factory production car at Germany’s Nürburgring-Nordschleife track, which is said to be one of the most challenging courses in the world.
Only a limited amount of 900 cars will be made, and each will cost $518,000 USD to purchase. In other automotive news, Bugatti reveals an ultra-exclusive $5.8 Million USD 1,500 HP hypercar called Divo.
