Olivia Dean Announces Sophomore Album The Art of Loving

Multi-BRIT Award and Mercury Prize-nominated singer-songwriter Olivia Dean has officially announced the release of her highly-anticipated second album, The Art of Loving, set to arrive on 26th September 2025 via Capitol Records.

Following the critical acclaim of her 2023 debut album Messy, Dean returns with a bold and heartfelt exploration of love in all its forms—romantic, platonic, and self-reflective. Described as “a tender, intentional deep dive,” The Art of Loving promises to mark a new era in the artist’s already impressive trajectory.

The announcement is accompanied by the release of her joyful new single, ‘Nice To Each Other’, now available on all major streaming platforms. Jake Erland directs a vibrant one-take music video that captures a playful energy, perfectly reflecting the song’s light and uplifting vibe.

Speaking on the single, Olivia shares:

“‘Nice To Each Other’ is a song about the push and pull of exploring your independence in dating. It’s about enjoying someone in the present and allowing it to be both light and meaningful. I think this song and video represents a playfulness in me that I’m excited for people to see.”

Live Shows and Tour Highlights

In addition to the album news, Olivia Dean is set to perform a special headline show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on 11th June, a highly anticipated underplay ahead of a packed summer schedule. She will also open for Sam Fender on his UK stadium tour starting this week at London Stadium, and later join Sabrina Carpenter at BST Hyde Park on 6th July.

This summer, Dean will embark on her sold-out ‘Across The Atlantic’ tour, bringing her soulful sound to fans across the US and Canada.
