Over the last decade, Supreme’s seasonal project with The North Face has produced some of streetwear’s most coveted pieces. Since James Jebbia founded Supreme in 1994, he has continually aimed to supply skaters with clothing for all occasions, come rain or shine. So pairing up with The North Face has allowed him to expand his all-weather-appropriate street clothing, producing some technically proficient, high-performance outdoor gear for his returning, eager customers. This may explain why the two brand’s collaborative pieces have become a regular fixture on the ever-growing resell market.
This year, right on cue with the significant drop in temperature, Supreme is back with The North Face for their Fall/Winter 2018 collection. This collection acts as a follow up to the brand’s hugely sought after Spring/Summer 2018 snake-print collection, as well as their popular metallic collection. However, for FW18, the two brands have created a collection that heavily features the use of luxurious lambskin leather. This season the collection consists of a leather mountain parker with dual branding on the right arm, a compartment-heavy leather mountain waist bag, a leather shoulder bag with an adjustable strap, and a leather six-panel hat. Each of the pieces comes in four colours: black, red, green, and purple.
The Supreme X The North Face Fall/Winter 2018 leather collection will release online and in the NY, Brooklyn, LA, London and Paris stores on October 18. The collection will release in Japan on October 20.
