XXXTENTACION Confession Tape Found.

Pitchfork today released details of a 27-minute audio recording of the late XXXTENTACION confessing to violent crimes which were held against him. The dialogue is believed to have been recorded around the time of his arrest on the 8th of October 2016.

According to the Miami-Dade County state attorney’s office, the audio on the tape was explicit enough to be considered a confession by XXTENTACION’s prosecution and defence in the trial scheduled before his death.

The charges – battery of a pregnant woman and domestic abuse towards and ex-girlfriend – were always fervently denied by the Soundcloud rapper.

However, in this recording to undisclosed individuals, XXXTENTACION openly speaks about his abuse of the female in question:

“I put my source of happiness in another person, which was a mistake initially, right? But she fell through on every occasion until now. Until I started fucking her up bruh. I started fucking her up because she made one mistake. And from there, the whole cycle went down. Now she’s scared. That girl is scared for her life. Which I understand. I will kill that bitch if she play with me.”

Later on in the tape, the rapper also claims responsibility for an unsolved stabbing in Deerfield, Florida. Though the incident was reported as a triple stabbing, in the recording he can be heard claiming that he stabbed eight people:

“I’m on [Miami] New Times for stabbing, how many people they put in the news? They said three, it was eight.”

This comes just a week after Vic Mensa caused controversy with his BET freestyle which criticised the idolisation of XXXTENTACION, with Mensa emphasising the rapper’s abusive reputation.
